Algeria
Algeria is the largest (in land mass) country in Africa and the Arab World. Anyone traveling there needs to visit M’Zab which is a UNESCO World heritage site. It is a collection of desert fortress cities and has been described as unreal, incredible, and surreal. El-Qued is the city people visit to see the unique dome architecture of this area. Outside of El-Qued is Grand Erg Oriental, which is the Sahara Desert’s second biggest dune field and a unique attraction. History buffs will also want to see the Roman ruins at Timgad which is outside of Batna. Hippo Regius is also an ancient Numidian City and was once a major early starting point of Christianity.
