Cuba
The National Museum of Beautiful Arts of Cuba is housed in a building constructed in 1577. When it was built it served as a military fortress, and as a residence of the Spanish colonial governors. The museum features the work of many artists from Cuba. Cuba is the most populous island in the Caribbean and is a single party state under the Communist Party of Cuba, which holds power to date.
