Dominica
Dominica is an island in the Lesser Antilles region of the Caribbean. It is still being formed by geothermal-volcanic activity and is called the "Nature Isle of the Caribbean.". The island features lush mountainous rainforests, home of many rare plant, animal, and bird species. The Amber World Museum has a home in Dominica. It is a private museum containing fossils in rocks of amber and the whole process of this gem. It became an independent nation in 1978
