Mauritius

Mauritius is an island nation off the southeast coast of Africa, famous for its beautiful beaches, breathtaking scenery and friendly weather which draw tourists from all over the world. Few people however are aware that Mauritius is also a center for higher learning institutions where foreign students come in search of education. There are about 94 educational institutions in Mauritius that offer technology, engineering, medicine and business courses among others. Discovered and inhabited by Portuguese, Dutch, French and British, the government of Mauritius today has developed friendly relations with the European Union, particularly the United Kingdom and France. It also has good relations with South Africa, considered it's largest continental trading partner. Because of its tropical climate and location, it is home to some of the rarest plants and animal life in the world.
