Morocco
Morocco, part of the Maghreb region of North Africa, is full of Moroccan Arabic or Berber culture that cannot be found anywhere else. A visit to Marrakesh is unforgettable as one navigates the souks and old palaces from the 15th to the 18th centuries. The political capital is Rabat, but the largest city is Casablanca, made famous by a movie of its namesake. It is a historical seaside town full of spicy local cuisine. Fez is another must see due to its many fountains and the King of Morocco's palace. Barley, wheat, and other cereals as well as olives, citrus fruits, and grapes are grown in Morocco and employ forty percent of the workforce in their production.
