Zambia

The country of Zambia is a Southern African country bordered by Democratic Republic of the Congo to the north, Tanzania to the northeast, Malawi to the east, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Botswana and Namibia to the south, and Angola to the west. It has many places to explore including the Luangwa Valley and its westward extension to the Lunsemfwa River. The southernmost head of a well-known river, the Congo River, begins in Zambia and flows through its border into the Repulic of Congo. Other common tourist spots are the Kalambo River and Lake Tanganyika. Culturally, Zambia's most popular sport is football. The Zambian national football team has been ranked 15th in the official FIFA World Football Team Rankings. Zambia has a famous golfer, Madalitso Muthiya, who was the first black African to play n the US Golf Open.
